When we talk about changes, the common mistake is to believe we have to everything, to solve every aspects and of course within an impossible timeframe. However I suggest you to apply a theory I have learnt from Aristote; Establish small steps and make sure to reiterate its. The Philosophe used to say: “we are what we endless repeat”.
In my opinion the most difficult things in life is to become patient. No one can achieve what she/he wants in one and giant step. As an exercise, try to identify what you want (sure it is already a big phase itself) or identify what you wish to be/become.
- Take a paper and write notes
- Establish a plan
- Be realistic as much as you can with the agenda
- Learn, adjust, improve and REPEAT
You will slowly (but surely) see a change: that is happiness and self-esteem.
